Lac La Biche mounties charge two after police chase

Lac La Biche mounties say two men were arrested and charged after a pursuit featuring a rammed police car.
The RCMP says on February 21st they were at a home in Kikino looking to arrest a man wanted on charges of armed robbery out of Boyle.
Mounties say when they got close to the home a man and two other passengers fled in a vehicle. RCMP members tried to stop the car near Range Road 130 and Highway 28 with a tire deflation device, but officers say the vehicle avoided it by ramming a police cruiser.

A 36-year-old man from Anzac is being charged after allegedly fleeing and ramming a police vehicle near Smoky Lake.
Around 1 p.m. on February 21, Lac La Biche RCMP drove to a residence in Kikino to arrest a man wanted for an armed robbery in Boyle.
As they were approaching, the wanted individual and two other men fled.
The Mounties decided to set up multiple tire deflation devices on a rural road near Highway 28, however, the vehicle rammed a police vehicle twice in an attempt to avoid the device.
The police claim the vehicle eventually lost control and went into a ditch, where they were able to arrest the three men.
