Crimestoppers Offering $1,000 Reward for Information in 2018 Montgomery Murder Investigation

Alabama News An $1,000 reward is offered for information leading to the arrest of Mark Anthony Robinson. Police say Robinson is wanted for Trafficking Narcotics, Escape and Failure to Appear on the original charge of Murder. On March 17, Robinson was stopped by the Montgomery Police Department on a traffic stop and narcotics were located during the stop. Robinson was placed under arrest and subsequently escaped custody. Robinson was charged with the January 7, 2018 Murder of Damion Clarke. The murder happened in the 5800 block of Cherry Hill Road. He failed to appear for the September 2020 court appearance. Police consider Robinson a danger to the public.

Pella Places 3rd in Conference Wrestling Meet; Qualifies for Team Dual Regionals For 1st Time

It was a special weekend as the Pella wrestling team aims to continue their impressive growth in 2021. The Dutch placed 3rd as a team in the Little Hawkeye Conference tournament, their highest mark since Indianola joined the league in 2017. Damion Clark was the league champion in the 113 pound weight class. Peyton Ritzert placed 2nd at 138 pounds, and Ryan Hancock (126), T.R. Putz (132), Ryan Van Donselaar (160), Jordan DeRuiter (220), and Kody Huisman (285) all finished in 3rd as individuals. Additionally, Pella learned they will participate in the team regional duals for the first time in program history on February 10th, entering as the 24th ranked team in the 24 team field vying for the chance to compete as a full team at state.

Results from the PCM Invitational

Monroe was the site of the PCM Invitational, an 12 school event that saw the likes of Pella, Knoxville, Pleasantville, and the Mustangs taking part on Saturday. The Dutch had a solid outing as they tied for third with 138.5 points. While no wrestlers from the Tulip City finished first in his respective weight class, they had four finish second: Damion Clark at 120 pounds, Ryan Hancock at 126, Ryan Van Donselaar at 160, and Kody Huisman at 285 (heavyweight). Knoxville finished seventh in the field with 93 points. The Panthers had a trio of their own wind up finishing second in their classes: Marco Alejo at 113 pounds, Luke Spaur at 132, and Andon Trout at 138.
