Tua Tagovailoa Was Asked If He’s The Dolphins’ Franchise QB

Tua Tagovailoa was the No. 5 pick by the Miami Dolphins in 2020, months after being knocked out of his final season at Alabama by a nasty hip injury.
Many expected Tua to sit out his rookie year, in order to be sure that he had recovered from the injury. Instead, he took over for a pretty successful Ryan Fitzpatrick at midseason, starting the back-half of the year.
Tua had some significant ups and down. In most cases, his would’ve been dubbed a pretty successful rookie year, but compared to No. 1 pick Joe Burrow or presumptive Offensive Rookie of the Year Justin Herbert, who went one spot after Tagovailoa to the Los Angeles Chargers, and there are concerns about his ceiling. His future has also been thrown into question given constant rumors that the Dolphins could make a play for Deshaun Watson, who has demanded a trade from the Houston Texans.

Florida basketball player Keyontae Johnson is recovering from a terrifying moment earlier in the season. The Gators guard collapsed on the court during the Dec. 12 game against Florida State.
Johnson was stretchered off the floor, leaving many of his teammates in tears on the floor. There was speculation that the game might get called given how scary the moment was. The Gators wound up falling to the Seminoles, 83-71.
Given the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, and all of the unknowns about the short and long term impacts of the virus, many understandably wondered if the virus may have had an impact here. Johnson tested positive for COVID-19 before the season, and was diagnosed with acute myocarditis after the incident, a heart condition that has been linked to COVID.
Bradley Beal Reportedly Expressed His Preference To Wizards

Bradley Beal has been at the center of trade rumors for a while now, predating the Washington Wizards‘ 2020-21 early-year struggles. It doesn’t sound like he’s particularly interested in a move, however.
Beal is one of the best pure scorers in the NBA, as well as one of its top shooting guards. At 34.9 points per game, he’s four full points ahead of Kevin Durant for the NBA league lead.
“I wanna win,” Beal said after a recent Wizards loss, during which he scored 47 points. “This is why I stayed. I wanna win (here). I figure this is the place I can get it done.”

D.K. Metcalf and Justin Jefferson are two of the NFL’s brightest young stars at wide receiver. They have some pretty interesting takes on the state of the position right now.
The pair recently appeared on the I AM ATHLETE podcast, with two former top receivers: Brandon Marshall and Chad Johnson. During the conversation, they were both asked to rank their current top five wide receivers. Both were in agreement with the top spot.
Atlanta Falcons’ receiver Julio Jones clearly has the utmost respect of other guys at his position. Other receivers have had better seasons in recent years, but both Metcalf and Jefferson have him at No. 1.
