With 2020 over (thank goodness), Virginia statewide candidates will now start announcing their fundraising numbers from the second half of the year. We start off 2021 with Democratic Lt. Governor candidate Sean Perryman, who announced in a press release (see below) this morning that he had “raised over $204,000 with $170,000 cash on hand “since he “officially entered the race in October.” From what I’ve been hearing, I’m betting that the top Democratic fundraising numbers for LG will be in the $500,000-$600,000 range (the top numbers for governor will be in the multiple millions), but we’ll see soon enough…
