A community walk honouring the Indigenous lives lost in Canada’s residential school system will take place along the Avon River in Stratford on Thursday evening.
Organizers said the event, hosted by the Multicultural Association of Perth-Huron, is being held in a spirit of “reflection, healing and reconciliation” while recognizing the outstanding calls to action outlined by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada six years ago.
