The Athol High School boys basketball program will have a new coach next season.
The school announced the hiring of Brian Patria as its new varsity boys basketball coach in a press release Tuesday. Patria will replace Dan Bevis, who stepped down at the conclusion of this past season for personal reasons. Bevis, who is also the athletic director at the school, had led the program for the past five seasons.
A 1994 graduate of Athol High School, Patria will step into his new position after nine seasons as the assistant varsity coach. He is a longtime resident of Athol and was a member of the football, basketball and baseball teams during high school. St John Ambulance Joins Forces With Isle Of Wight Ambulance Service

St John Ambulance (SJA) is joining forces with the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service (IWAS) with 999 urgent and emergency responses.
The charity is providing mutual aid in supporting the Island community during what continues to be an incredibly busy time for urgent and emergency services. It is part of a national contingency strategy.
Throughout January and February the demand on the IW Ambulance Service has risen and COVID-19 related staff absences has put additional pressure on the service.
ST JOHN Ambulance (SJA) will be assisting the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service (IWAS) with 999 urgent and emergency responses as part of a national contingency strategy. The charity is providing mutual aid in supporting the Island community during what continues to be an incredibly busy time for urgent and emergency services. Throughout January and February the demand on the IW Ambulance Service has risen and Covid related staff absence has put additional pressure on the service.
