Ted Neitzke becomes Port Washington s new mayor after easily winning the election Eddie Morales, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Port Washington has a new mayor. Theodore Neitzke IV received 1,796 votes (about 65% of the vote) compared to Dan Benning s 979 votes (35%) © Submitted Ted Neitzke Mayor Martin Becker did not seek re-election. Neitzke said he s grateful to serve the community he was raised in and that he s excited to work with the council, city employees and citizens. I m really looking forward to moving Port Washington forward as we grow as a city, he said.  Benning said he will continue in his role as the Ward 4 alderman working with Neitzke and the council.
