Athletics GB athletes set to defend titles at World Para Athletics European Championships

A 47-STRONG Great Britain team for June’s World Para Athletics European Championships in Poland has been announced, with 10 reigning European champions included. Among the 10 are Rio 2016 Paralympic gold medallists Sophie Hahn (T38 100 metres), Richard Whitehead (T61 200m) and Aled Davies (F63 shot put). Double world champion Maria Lyle is set to compete in the T35 100m and 200m at the event in Bydgoszcz. The other current European title holders are Athens 2004 Paralympic champion Dan Greaves (F64 discus), Thomas Young (T38 100m), Harri Jenkins (T33 100m), Vanessa Wallace (F34 shot put), and 2018 universal 4x100m relay gold medallists Nathan Maguire and Zac Shaw.
