The decision was reportedly made at a late-night meeting between policymakers and health officials on Tuesday.
It comes as NSW Health issued an urgent alert warning that a confirmed case of Covid-19 from Melbourne was in Jervis Bay, Goulburn, Hyams Beach and Vincentia while potentially infectious on May 23 and 24.

The tribunal’s approval will see three pay rises applied to the salaries of Queensland state MPs. The first, a 2% hike, will be applied in September this year. That will be followed by a 2.25% rise in March 2022, and a further 2.5% pay increase in September of that year.
