New ARC Otsego Executive Director Promoted From Within
The ARC Otsego has announced a new Executive Director/CEO and it s someone already very familiar with the operations of the organization headquartered in Oneonta. Todd Hansen, who has been with ARC Otsego, working in the roles of Chief Operations Officer and Assistant Executive Director since 2016, has big shoes to fill with his new appointment. Hansen replaces long-time Exec. Dir. Pat Knuth who just retired after many years of service to the organization.

Hansen will continue The Arc Otsego s mission to provide support and services to those with developmental and intellectual disabilities, helping them fulfill personal dreams and ambitions in our local communities in Otsego County. Those services include residential and day programs, employment and community-based programs, facilities, and maintenance of 17 sites based through the county. Officials: All 3 juveniles sought in double slaying arrested

MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio (AP) Local and federal authorities have arrested all three juveniles being sought in the shooting deaths of two men in an Ohio city earlier this month.
Maple Heights police and U.S. marshals arrested a boy and a girl Friday in the homicides of Zachery Cuter, 29, and Ryan Tyler. 31, at about 1:15 p.m. on May 8.
Chief Todd Hansen said police believe they have the main suspects in custody, but are continuing the investigation. The ages of the two suspects just arrested and other details weren t immediately released.

Todd Hansen, the executive director of Artist Rescue Trust (A.R.T.), said a bunch of his friends came up with a plan to create a nonprofit that would help artists and musicians.
“And say ‘hey, we want to give people $500 a month for three months and no questions asked. Just use the money,’” he said. “Like directly fund people that qualify and make those eligibility requirements pretty black-and-white.”
He said the organization wanted to target a large territory of artists.
“We always had a national look for it. It s always been open to anybody in the United States,” Hansen explained. “So, we just casted a wide net and helped as many people as possible as fast as possible. It s kind of been our mantra.”
