A small Christian university outside Philadelphia shuttered its highly regarded social work program partly because school officials say the accrediting agency was attempting to impose sexuality and gender values that don’t align with the university’s religious mission. “We’ve got 18 panels on the South facing side and 12 and 12 on the garage East and West,” Todd Williams said.
The couple bought the system that powers their home and two cars last year thanks to Solar United Neighbors, the company organizing Columbus’ solar co-op.

“Starting in March once we had all of our equipment so we can track all of the power we’ve started having net zero bills,” Mryia Williams said. “So we’ve had one bill that was a total of $10 that was mainly the distribution charges and then last month AEP actually owed us money.”
In an unusual move, the N.C. Administrative Office of the Courts has reassigned an Asheville School sexual assault case to District Attorney Ashley Welch of the 43rd district, the second time the case has been referred in less than a month.
The case began when Agnes Hill, a former student at the wealthy, private Asheville School, filed a criminal complaint Oct. 27, 2020 with the Asheville Police Department claiming she had been sexually assaulted as a 15-year-old freshman by an older male student in 2019.
The case was first conflicted out of Buncombe County District Attorney Todd Williams’ office in February. He sent it to District Attorney Greg Newman, who had just been disciplined in November 2020 for lying to a judge in a Henderson County child rape case and violating the N.C. Crime Victims’ Rights Act.
