Tata Motors has launched its premium flagship SUV â the all-new Safari. It is now available for purchase at a starting price of Rs 14.69 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the 6/7 seater variant. With a long format ad that shows a contrast between a corporate life and that of a traveller, the company has announced the launch of the all-new Safari with the tagline Reclaim Your Life .
The new Safari variant includes features such as all disc brakes and electronic parking brake. It will be available in nine variants. In a press release, the company states that SUV is the fastest-growing passenger vehicle segment in India.

The much awaited Tata Safari 2021 was finally launched on Monday (February 22). The new Safari was unveiled in the country in January, on the 72nd Republic Day. Tata had started taking bookings for the flagship SUV from the first week of February, with a token amount of Rs 30,000. After the launch, the deliveries will be made immediately.

The price of the car starts at Rs 14.69 lakh. Tata will be offering the SUV in six variants and three colours. The six variants will be XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ, and XZ+ while they will come in Royale Blue, Orcus White and Daytona Grey colour options.
After an intense focus on cars, it’s a year for SUVs at Tata Motors. On Monday, the Tata Group flagship launched the new Safari. With prices starting from Rs14.96 lakh going up to Rs 21.45 lakh (automatic transmission) the seven-seater SUV will compete with the Innova, the upcoming new Mahindra XUV5OO, among others. “Both JLR and Tata Motors have collaborated to bring the best in class for Indian consumers,” said N Chandrasekaran, Chairman Tata Motors and Tata Sons at the launch. The new Forever Range unveiled in January 2020 has got an enormous response, he said pointing out that the new Safari will help in accelerating the growth momentum further for company’s passenger vehicles business.
