Regardless of whether they have insurance or whether their loss was great or small, anyone who suffered any kind of loss during last weekend’s storm here is being asked to report that information to the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM).
That information could help determine if or how much assistance the city and county receive, and could possibly help local residents recover some of their costs that are insurance, according to Dawson County Treasurer Terri Stahl.
“It’s going to be very important for everybody to look up the website and participate in this survey,” County Judge Foy O’Brien said. “The more participation we have the more assistance we may be able to get.”
