Texas Medical Board clears Houston-area doctor accused of stealing COVID-19 vaccine Chron 3/16/2021 Alison Medley
A Houston-area doctor accused of stealing a vial of COVID-19 vaccine has been officially cleared by the Texas Medical Board.
After reviewing the case, the Texas Medical Board stated that there was insufficient evidence to prove that Dr. Hasan Gokal had violated the Medical Practice Act. The investigation determined that Dr. Gokal appeared to have administered doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to patients that were properly consented, in the eligible category, and they were given doses that would have otherwise been wasted, the Board stated in a letter shared with the Houston Chronicle s Zach Despart.

As 2020 comes to a close, it was a brutal year for violent crime in the city of Houston. Murder rates, and domestic violence haven t been this bad in over a decade. Many people want to blame the pandemic, and even more say it s the fault of Houston D.A. Kim Ogg. But the truth is, the real problem is actually in the courts, specifically with democrat judges. Andy Kahan of Crimestoppers told KTRH it s easy to blame the pandemic, but the real issue is the revolving door at the courthouse. Basically, due to PR bonds, violent felons are being released from from prison. Even worse, not only does Kahan acknowledge it, but he says the criminals are well aware of it and have already figured out how to take advantage of the system, I have many friends in law enforcement who tell me when they pick somebody up they just laugh, because they know they re going to be back out in a few hours.
