COVID-19: Some students in greater Cincinnati getting vaccinated at school

View Comments Cincinnati area teens have been trickling into COVID-19 vaccination clinics ever since Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine opened up vaccine eligibility to everyone 16 and older on March 29. Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear did the same a week later. Until then, public health officials are working to get more and more eligible teens vaccinated. In some cases, that means bringing vaccination clinics to school buildings. Milford High School in Clermont County hosted a vaccination clinic in partnership with Clermont Public Health last week. District spokesperson Wendy Planicka says about 200 people came to the clinic, 150 of which were students. The second dose will be available on May 17.
