The health board is meeting to find creative ways to get to people, like seeking large employers and asking them if they want to hold a clinic for their employees.

Butte accepting people from other counties for COVID-19 vaccinations

Butte accepting people from other counties for COVID-19 vaccinations Butte s latest vaccination clinic is now open to anyone wanting a shot By: John Emeigh and last updated 2021-04-13 22:19:26-04 BUTTE - Butte has plenty of doses but fewer people coming in to get vaccinated for COVID-19. Its latest vaccination clinic is now open to anyone wanting a shot. “We have been given the ok to lift the residency restrictions, so we’re able to vaccinate people from anywhere now,” said Operations Manager Diane Regan. While Butte has more than 34 percent of the population vaccinated, recent clinics have seen declining numbers. This is likely due to people having the option of getting vaccinated at their local pharmacy, and there are many who are resistant to getting the vaccine.

Butte-Silver Bow welcomes walk-ins at Wednesday COVID-19 vaccination clinic

BUTTE, Mont. – The Butte-Silver Bow Health Department is having trouble filling up appointments for their COVID-19 vaccine clinic scheduled from noon to 6 p.m. on April 14. The Wednesday clinic hours, usually 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., were changed to give younger ages from the region and working adults a better timeframe to get a vaccine. “We want to make sure we are getting the 16- and 17-year-olds vaccinated as soon as we can so this gives them the opportunity after school to come down with their parents and get their shots, it also is for people that might not get off work until 4 or 5 o’clock and haven’t been able to get to a Wednesday clinic,” Operations Division Director Diane Regan said.

Butte prepares for large-scale vaccination clinics Butte-Silver Bow preparing for 3 consecutive days of COVID-19 vaccinations By: John Emeigh and last updated 2021-04-01 11:31:39-04 BUTTE — Butte-Silver Bow is preparing for three consecutive days of COVID-19 vaccinations – the largest mass vaccination since the county started vaccinating in December. “I think we’re prepared. We’ll have to make sure we have adequate vaccinators, people for traffic, some people are available one day but not other days, so we’re just trying to get a firm schedule for everyone, so we have enough people,” said Operations Manager Diane Regan. There are 2,200 vaccines for The April 5
