Diana Santos was the woman who was thrown to the ground and rendered unconscious by a Fairfield Police officer during a domestic dispute call.
Edward Chaves, Diana s husband was there to witness the incident unfold as they were the ones calling for help. He says the next thing you know, my wife s injured and my kids are going to jail. The initial call was to deal with a dispute between Santos daughter and her boyfriend.
Santos is being charged with 2 misdemeanor accounts, one for resisting arrest and one fore obstruction. Body cam footage is being requested and Santos attorney is meeting with the district attorney this week.
