The metropolitan corporation has failed to build new public toilets, while 12 out of the 25 facilities present earlier have been closed during the past two years because of high expenses. The population of Lahore is estimated to have risen to about 15 million, of whom about three million travel in the city daily.

Norwich s Farmyard Frozen to take on showground kitchen

Farmyard, on St Benedicts Street, has launched Farmyard Frozen, a range of frozen meals which it had previously been making at its sister restaurant and hotel the Dial House, in Reepham. But, with demand on the up, it has now teamed up with the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association (RNAA) at the Norfolk Showground to make use of kitchen space.
