Wellesley Alpine Ski Team races to the finish

While the Wellesley alpine ski team had a late start this year not getting on snow until Dec. 14, they got up to speed fast and made good use of the heavy snowfall. With over 75 ski team members across varsity and junior varsity, the team practiced regularly at Blue Hills and took advantage of the Wednesday remote days to practice at Wachusett Mountain.
“The added bonus of the donuts, Waffle House, and Taco Truck made Wachusett practice days very popular,” said coach Cory Tusler.
“With this large group of racers and COVID-19 restrictions, I was fortunate to have coach Julianna Tusler and coach Kristine Lotoski working with me who were critical to managing dryland training and keeping the team moving,” Tusler added.
