KENNETT, Mo. (KFVS) - A man is accused of hitting and killing another man with a vehicle.
Jimmy L. Gooden, Jr., 51, of Kennett, was charged on Thursday, May 6 with second-degree murder, armed criminal action and felony leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
According to Kennett police, Gooden was on the run after police found Forest Kincade dead after being hit by a vehicle.
He was in custody as of 3 p.m. on Thursday.

KENNETT, Mo. (KFVS) - A Kennett man has been taken into custody after methamphetamine, prescription pills, ecstasy and mushrooms were found in his hotel room.
65-year-old Terry W. O’Neil was charged with class A felony of trafficking drugs in the first degree, three counts of class C felony of delivery of a controlled substance and class E felony of delivery of a controlled substance.

KENNETT, Mo. (KFVS) - Authorities canceled a missing persons alert for are a father and son.
As of 2:32 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol said the alert was canceled.
The Dunklin County Sheriff’s Department confirmed they were both found safe.
MISSOURI The Missouri State Highway Patrol has canceled a missing persons alert for an adult male and a juvenile male, as of 2:30 p.m. MSHP did not give a reason behind the cancellation.
According to the original alert, Alex Tucker, 30, and Kannon Tucker, 7, were last heard from on March 31, at approximately 7:23 p.m. While crossing a bridge in West Memphis, Tennessee, on the way to their home to Kennett, Missouri, their vehicle reportedly got a flat tire.
The alert lists a black 2017 Chevrolet Cruze bearing the Missouri license plate EB7L2T as a vehicle that the two may have been traveling in.
