TOPSHAM – Carol Jack, 81, of Topsham, passed away, surrounded by family, on Saturday April 24, 2021 following a brief illness.
Carol was born in Quincy, Mass. on Nov. 26, 1939, the daughter of Edwin and Mary Davidson. She graduated from North Quincy High School and attended Colby College in Waterville for two years. She then earned her MT degree from the Boston University Hospital School of Medical Technology.
Carol married Richard Jack following his graduation from the University of Maine. They moved to Ft. Sill, Okla. where Richard fulfilled his military obligation as a 2nd Lt. in the Army Artillery. They then moved to the Hudson Valley area of New York State where they lived and worked for the next 36 years. Carol worked as a Medical Technologist in local hospitals and doctors offices. The owner of Wagamama will tap shareholders for £175m as it seeks to shore up its finances ahead of reopening and grow the business further with a focus on suburban locations and delivery outlets.
The Restaurant Group (TRG), which also owns Frankie & Benny s, said that while the performance of its delivery and click-and-collect services had been extremely encouraging , its near-term outlook remains uncertain with trading disrupted as the shutdown persists.
The London-listed group said sales plunged 57pc to £459m last year after its restaurants were forced to close their doors for months on end.

Mitchells & Butlers said it will tap shareholders for £350m in a move that will give its three largest shareholders effective control of the business.
The All Bar One owner will issue about 167m new shares priced at 210p.
The FTSE 250 group, which also owns Harvester and Toby Carvery, told investors that it has secured a new £150m credit facility from banks as part of the financial shake-up.
