Joanne Martin, our beloved friend, daughter, sister, Mom, Grandma, aunt, teacher and colleague was taken to a better place during the early morning hours of March 9, 2021.
A timely celebration of her life will take place tentatively on her birthday, Wednesday, May 5, 2-5 p.m. at the front lawn area of the Santa Barbara Inn on Cabrillo Boulevard.
Joanne was born May 5, 1955 in Paso Robles, California. She was the fourth of six children born to Alice Bolinger of Paso Robles, who survives her, along with her siblings Sharon, Kathy, Mary (Lee) and Michael (Megan). A brother Gary predeceased her in 1954.

As Scott Wilson has spent time on the Baylor School campus the last 12 years, he has nostalgically thought on occasion about when he was a student from 1969-75.
