Tranco Logistics Names Dakota Williams As CFO Tuesday, March 16, 2021

Dakota Williams has joined Tranco Logistics as CFO. Mr. Williams comes to Tranco with previous logistics and auditing experience.
He graduated from UTC in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He received his CPA license in 2016.
“We’re pleased to have Dakota join our executive management team,” said Bruce Trantham, managing partner. “His depth of experience and knowledge of the transportation industry will be invaluable as we pursue our strategic growth objectives in the future. In addition to his competency, Dakota is going to be an excellent fit in the Tranco culture.”

MUNCIE, Ind. Two Muncie residents one of them already awaiting trial on 16 criminal charges were arrested Thursday after city police said fhey were found with nearly 100 grams of meth.
Alissa Nicole Webster, 20, and Dakota Billy Gene Woolums, 19, were both preliminarily charged with dealing in meth, possession of heroin and possession of paraphernalia.
Authorities said they pulled over a Mercury Mountaineer driven by Woolums after 3:15 p.m. near Memorial Drive and Rosemont Avenue after determining it had a license plate registered to another vehicle.
After a police K-9 indicated there were controlled substances in the Mountaineer, authorities searched a backpack in the back seat that contained four bags holding a total of 99.5 grams of meth, along with a far smaller amount of heroin, two sets of digital scales and two glass smoking pipes. Also found was a loaded 9mm handgun.
