If approved by the Technical Review Committee, it would be the second Cook Out in Brunswick County. The first opened in Shallotte at 4455 Main St. in January. The chain has three locations in New Hanover County, including one that is called both Cook Out and Taco Roos on South College Road.
That was due in part to its original Taco Roos name, however, it offers a full Cook Out menu.
