Mississauga teacher charged with sexual exploitation of teenager in 2009

A Mississauga elementary school teacher is facing a sexual exploitation charge dating back to an alleged incident from 2009.
Peel Regional Police say investigators received notice that in June of that year, a teacher’s assistant from a Toronto area high school allegedly sexually exploited a 16-year-old teenager within Peel.
On Wednesday, they arrested 39-year-old Jeffrey Gallo of Mississauga and charged him with sexual exploitation.
Gallo currently works as an elementary school teacher for the Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board.

They come on camera with hostility, said the teacher, who has 20 years experience. She said the parents even go as far as raising their voices and pointing fingers. The teacher said the treatment was so bad, it contributed to her taking a medical leave for a mental health disorder.
