About 20 minutes later, a trooper caught him traveling 76 mph in zone marked at 60 mph. The third trooper clocked him going 78 mph in a 65 mph zone about 4:20 p.m. near Bemidji, the man s hometown.

Kiara Jones and her two children, 3-year-old Lily and 2-year-old Joshua, died in a crash on Saturday after their car crossed the median on Dunkirk Lane in Maple Grove. A male passenger in the car survived. Their family is now focused on how the three of them lived, not how they died. “I’m going miss being a father and grandfather to them. They were always on my mind when I move about, when I see things, you know, make me think of them. I enjoyed coming home with things for them, you know, I love to see the smile on they face when I come in,” Carl Billingsley said.

(FOX 9) - Police say a car that crashed in Maple Grove killing three people, including two toddlers, was traveling about 80 mph in a 45 mph zone.  According to the Maple Grove Police Department, the speed estimate is conservative. Victims of triple-fatal Maple Grove crash ID d as woman, 2 toddlers The single-vehicle crash happened just before 7 a.m. Saturday, May 8. Author: Three people killed in a single-vehicle crash in Maple Grove Saturday morning have been identified as a young Minneapolis woman and two young children.  The Hennepin County Medical Examiner s Office identified the victims Monday afternoon as 25-year-old Kiara Tashay Jones, 3-year-old Lily My Joy Kendrick and 2-year-old Joshua Vishnu Kendrick.  All three died of multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the car crash on Dunkirk Lane just north of 77th Avenue North. Maple Grove Police Department said the crash happened at approximately 6:54 a.m. Saturday.

Three Dead Following Maple Grove Crash By Ashley Hanley|2021-05-10T06:00:53-05:00May 10th, 2021| (Maple Grove)    A woman and two children are dead following a Saturday morning crash in Maple Grove.  A vehicle containing the victims was traveling near the intersection of Dunkirk Lane and Lawndale Lane when the incident happened.  A 25-year-old female driver, a two-year-old boy, and a three-year-old girl were all killed, but a 23-year-old man inside survived the crash.  Investigators say high-speed may have been a factor in the crash, and that none of the passengers was wearing their seat belts.  The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
