Turkish, Austrian Ties Solid, Deeply Rooted: Ambassador
Political rows not impeding Vienna, Ankara from cooperating on matters of mutual interest, says Johannes Wimmer. Bilateral political disagreements between Ankara and Vienna governments do not necessarily mean they will not cooperate on matters of importance for both sides, the Austrian ambassador to Turkey said on Tuesday.
Ambassador Johannes Wimmer, in a written statement to Anadolu Agency, commented on a variety of issues including the bilateral ties, Turkish diaspora, economy, and political developments. Our bilateral political relations are definitely not without disagreements, but this does not impede Austria and Turkey from cooperating on matters which are important to both of us, Wimmer said.
