In this third installment of the collection of crackpot theories cooked up by the media who decry the very practice, it is a mixture of the new and some older conspiracies. One thing to bear in mind in this lengthy list is that all of these are contemporary fever dreams. Every one of these dozens of examples has played out and been promoted during the Trump administration.
Some of the choices unearthed were either forgotten or so easily bypassed as hackneyed reporting they barely registered in the memory. But this has been an educational exercise; knowing the press is dysfunctional is one thing, but having them surpass even lowly regard is a head-shaking result. So to kick off this latest batch of bat-crap craziness in the press we’ll open with the newest.
Barbecue lovers soon will have another eatery to enjoy in West Orange County, with Sonny s BBQ having recently broken ground in Ocoee.
City leaders and company representatives gathered Monday, March 1, to turn dirt on the barbecue chain s newest location, 11080 W. Colonial Drive. The 4,500-square-foot restaurant has a capacity of 140 guests inside the dining room, and it will bring 80 part- and full-time jobs to the community.
According to company representatives, guests can look forward to a full bar, as well as drive-thru, takeout and curbside availability. We are thrilled about the opportunity to bring our slow-smoked, signature barbecue to Ocoee, said Josh McCall, president of iServ BBQ LLC. The local community has welcomed us with open arms, and we look forward to spreading the spirit of barbeque in our new neighborhood.
