A coronavirus vaccination clinic for Asotin County teachers and child care workers is scheduled for tomorrow (Sat) in Clarkston.
Washington Governor Jay Inslee recently announced the state would immediately add educators and those who work in child care to the list of those eligible to receive the vaccine. The move is intended to get more in-person instruction for Washington students, many of whom haven’t been in a classroom since last spring.
The event, which will be held at the new fire station on Appleside Boulevard in the Clarkston Heights, is being coordinated by Tri-State Memorial Hospital, the Asotin County Health District and the Asotin County Fire District.
