Former King Calaway Member Jordan Harvey Signs Solo Record Deal With BMG

BMG has signed singer-songwriter JORDAN HARVEY to a record deal. HARVEY was previously a member of BMG imprint STONEY CREEK RECORDS six-man group, KING CALAWAY, but departed the Country band in JULY 2020 to pursue a solo career (NET NEWS 7/20/20). He is already signed to BMG as a songwriter, but now joins the roster as a solo artist.
“We’ve known JORDAN for years and there has always been a special magic about him that lights up a room,” said BMG NASHVILLE Pres. JON LOBA. “We’re excited to see his creativity flourish and where his talent leads him.”

Jordan Harvey was one of LAFC’s first MLS Free Agent signings ahead of their debut season in 2018, and the ageless wonder continues to go strong.
I suspect pretty much every year since he started at LAFC, the expectation of the club was that this would be the last year for Harvey playing on the squad, surely he’ll hit a wall and will gracefully retire, there’s no way he can keep going.
But 2020 was Harvey’s 15th season in MLS, and while he relinquished his grip on the starter’s role for the first time since he broke through with the Colorado Rapids in 2008, he still played a pretty useful role.

LAFC announced Wednesday they have re-signed defender Jordan Harvey to a new one-year contract ahead of the 2021 season.
Harvey, 36, will return for his fourth season with the black-and-gold, and his 16th in MLS overall.
“Jordan has been an integral part of our Club since joining us ahead of our inaugural campaign in 2018,” said Co-President & General Manager John Thorrington in a team statement. “Not only has he brought a wealth of experience and leadership to the locker room, but he has also served as a fantastic ambassador in our community.”
