The second phase of a local art initiative is underway.
The The chatham kent art house has completed its first phase, which focused on visual art submissions, and is accepting works of creative writing for the second.

The pieces must be inspired by the three selected pieces of visual art from the first phase: Shattered by Jordan Wills, The Consumerist by Rena Lugtigheid and Lava Flow under a Jovian Sky by Lee McFadden.
The five-person jury will select six works – or two per selected artist – in the second phase. Writers can submit up to two works at a maximum of 1,500 words each.

It drew a lengthy dissent from one justice, who said the majority deviated from accepted principles of tort law by taking the question of legal responsibility away from the jury.

In honour of our (belated) second anniversary writing this column I thought I would start with a quote from playwright George Bernard Shaw.
Three reasons here. First, I used a quote from Shaw to close our introductory column back in February 2019. Secondly, what is creativity if not the ability to see things differently? And finally, we have begun the second phase of our ck art house project, writing.
