Kolkata: Covid beds at private hospitals that were taken up by the West Bengal government since March will be released after there is a fall in the number of Covid cases in the state.
According to sources of the
Times of India, more general beds would be released than ICU beds. The infection rate in West Bengal has been falling since September and the number of people requiring hospitalisation has come down.
