Protecting Campus Data in an Era of Evolving Risk
The relentless rise of ransomware is hurting higher education at a time when IT systems are seemingly at their most vulnerable: After a year of remote work and learning and emergency stop-gap measures put in place to keep university operations going during the pandemic, cybersecurity defenses â and resources â are stretched thin. Data is at risk.
This webcast will include a panel discussion with Andy Stone, Americas Field CTO for Pure Storage, Joel Reeves, Associate Vice Chancellor & Chief Information Officer, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Mark Hoeting, Executive Counselor, InfoTech Research Group, and former Georgia Tech CIO. Joel will share how UT revamped data protection, gaining greater visibility into campus assets along with faster performance and lower costs, while building the highly scalable infrastructure to ward off future threats.
