Here’s a synopsis: Seven years after the Monsterpocalypse, Joel Dawson (
O’Brien), along with the rest of humanity, has been living underground ever since giant creatures took control of the land. After reconnecting over radio with his high school girlfriend Aimee (
Henwick), who is now 80 miles away at a coastal colony, Joel begins to fall for her again. As Joel realizes that there’s nothing left for him underground, he decides against all logic to venture out to Aimee, despite all the dangerous monsters that stand in his way.

It was just announced that the fan-favorite MTV series will begin streaming on the platform on March 22nd, to celebrate the full moon on Sunday, March 28th.
While this isn’t the news that
TW fans would be hoping for, it’s still pretty exciting, as the show is currently not available on any streaming platform.
The series is also getting ready to celebrate 10 years since it first premiered on MTV. The show made it’s debut on June 5, 2011 and became one of the most popular shows on the network for years, before it ended on September 24, 2017. To this day, fans continue to campaign for the show to return!

South African filmmaker Michael Matthews says he is honoured to have scored an Oscar nod for his Hollywood film, âLove and Monstersâ, a fun, adventurous film that has been dubbed âone of the best surprises of 2020â.
The film has been nominated for Best Visual Effects at the 93rd Academy Awards, which will take place in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 25.
Matthews said: âThere were so many people involved in bringing the monsters and world of the film to life. So, itâs awesome to see that hard work acknowledged.
