He was previously superintendent at Jonesboro Westside.About 3,300 students are enrolled in the Alma School District. ALMA, Ark. Alma Public Schools announced a new superintendent Wednesday. Stuttgart s bowling teams show well in the 3A-4A state competition

(Submitted photo) The Stuttgart Lady Ricebirds squad claimed a 3A-4A state runner-up finish after receiving strong efforts from Hadley Carlin, Kayla Kittler, and Katelyn Anderson. Stuttgart bowled on Wednesday along with four other schools but had to wait until Friday afternoon to discover the final standings. The wait was worth it. Southside Batesville won the 3A-4A state title with a score of 2924. Stuttgart placed second with a score of 2866. Elkins finished third with a score of 2832.
