Alma picks new superintendent

Alma Public Schools announced a new superintendent Wednesday.Bryan Duffie will become Deputy Superintendent/Superintendent Elect on July 1, 2021. He will then become superintendent on July 1, 2022, at which time current superintendent David Woolly will retire.Duffie has been superintendent of Jacksonville for four years. He was previously superintendent at Jonesboro Westside.About 3,300 students are enrolled in the Alma School District.
