The season of giving was on full display, Dec. 16, as The Ford Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake donated toys for children in need in Lorain County.
âThis is the first time weâve done (Marine Corps) Toys For Tots,â said Amy Brown, the employee resource coordinator at the plant. âWe had some people in the plant that came up and asked if we could do a toy drive, so we decided to give it a shot. We also have a lot of veterans that work here, so it really connected with them as well.â

Joseph Gee, the recording secretary for the UAW Local 2000 and vice president of Local 2000 s retired veterans committee, said Toys For Tots is a great cause.
