South Plainfield police investigating convenience store armed robbery
SOUTH PLAINFIELD – Police are investigating a convenience store armed robbery Thursday on Oak Tree Avenue.
Officers received a 911 call around 10:05 p.m. Thursday reporting an armed robbery at the Krauszer s at 488 Oak Tree Ave., police said.
An employee told officers that a 25- to 30-year-old man wearing all black clothing and a black face mask entered the store and pointed a black handgun at him and ordered him to the ground. The man then proceeded to the cash register, removed the cash and fled on foot, police said.
