CAMP NAKAR, Lucena City- A Quezon town police chief was relieved for his alleged violation of the prohibition on social gatherings as contained in the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATFF) guidelines.
Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) Director Col. Audie Madrideo said Capt. Joseph Ian Java, chief of police of Dolores Municipal Police Station, was administratively relieved from his post as ordered by Brig. Gen. Felipe Natividad, Police Regional Office-4 Director, in coordination with Mayor Orlan Calayag.
According to reports, Java allegedly had a drinking session in his office. A staff of the municipal social welfare office (MSWDO) took a photo of the gathering and posted it on social media.
