These are the words of 55-year-old Amanda Hornsby from Market Deeping, who is sharing her story about the support sheâs receiving from Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice, in the hope others might find out more about its newly launched virtual day services programme.
The mother of four and grandmother of five has functional neurological disorder caused by encephalitis. She first received support from Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice in November 2019 after the social prescribing service at her Market Deeping GP surgery referred her to the hospiceâs day services programme.

SKOWHEGAN A Skowhegan woman was treated for minor injuries over the weekend after her SUV slid through an intersection and hit a guardrail, according to police.
Jo Hazelwood, 20, was driving a 2004 Toyota Highlander southbound on Eaton Mountain Road when the accident occurred.
As Hazelwood’s vehicle entered the intersection at East River Road, it slid past the stop sign, crossed East River Road and hit a guardrail and a Central Maine Power Co. utility pole, according to Chief David Bucknam of the Skowhegan Police Department.
