A Tyne Valley school has thanked the person behind a generous donation of technology. Newbrough Church of England Primary School, as like schools around the county, has had to adapt to a large proportion of their pupils now learning at home during the third national lockdown. This potential issue was made easier to adapt to thanks to Northumberland-based author LJ Ross, who gave the school seven brand new laptops, and also helped source several others, that could be used by pupils at home. Ross, who is an international best selling autor thanks to titles including her DCI Ryan mystery series, was born in Northumberland and returned to the area to live several years ago.
