The spectacular new Mount Van Hoevenberg Nordic Center (https://www.adirondackdailyenterprise.com/news/local-news/2021/04/van-hoevenberg-upgrade-meant-to-last-100-years), the new Dewey Mountain Recreation Center, the Jackrabbit Ski Trail and the expanding Paul Smith’s College VIC cross-country ski and snowshoe center offer a unique range of quality facilities for Nordic ski enthusiasts. In addition to these facilities being available for local and visiting recreational skiers, they are also terrific venues for local to international competitions, both for competitors and potentially for spectators.

Even with the Temporary Additional Support (TAS) benefit – which Hutton said she must reapply for every three months – it’s a struggle to make ends meet. She said she could not remember the last time she bought fresh meat because it’s too expensive and buys frozen fish cakes if she wants protein.
