A 34-year-old city man who had been on the Jamestown Police Department’s Top 10 most wanted list was taken into custody after barricading himself inside a Cowden Place home Monday afternoon.

A 34-year-old city man who had been on the Jamestown Police Department’s Top 10 most wanted list was taken into custody after barricading himself inside a Cowden Place home Monday afternoon.
Silk E. Spencer surrendered to authorities after about two hours. No injuries were reported.
Police had received information that Spencer wanted on multiple felony warrants including assault from a prior stabbing incident, second-degree robbery and two counts of aggravated family offense was inside a home at 15 Cowden Place. When officers approached, the city man reportedly barricaded himself inside the basement and advised that he was “going to start shooting and that he was going to kill officers,” Jamestown
