Steiner / The Sun Officials plan to test sirens located in the area at about 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, as part of Severe Summer Weather Awareness Week in North Dakota, according to Jerry Bergquist, Stutsman County emergency manager and 911 coordinator. The annual test will be rescheduled if threatening weather is actually occurring at that time. It is our license to make noise, Bergquist said. We send out a code by radio to activate the sirens around Stutsman County. We have people placed at each of those sirens to make sure it is working.
