(Jackson, WY) – The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking any information regarding a nanny mountain goat that was found dead along Wyoming Highway 89 in the Snake River Canyon near Alpine.
They believe the mountain goat may have been hit by a vehicle and subsequently shot sometime during the night of Thursday, May 13, 2021. The female mountain goat was discovered and reported to Wyoming Game and Fish officials the morning of Friday, May 14, 2021.

Members of the City of Harrisburg’s Comprehensive Plan Community Working Group will meet with PennLive’s Editorial Board at 6 p.m. Tuesday in a Zoom event that will be aired on live on Facebook.
Winnie Okello, Basir Vincent, and James Hobbs, all members of the working group, will discuss the upcoming public Zoom forum “Civic Engagement, Power, and Politics,” that will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, May 6. The committee says it is looking to engage resident of the city with the following objectives:
THE DESCENDANTS of shopkeeper James Hobbs gave the restored former hardware shop their seal of approval at its official opening. The former Hobbs hardware store unit at 27, Great Cornbow, has been restored to its former glory by developer Ruskin Properties and is now the official office for the Halesowen BID team. James Hobbs granddaughters, twins Dorothy and Mary, were invited by the BID team Vicky Rogers and Ellie Hunt to join them for tea and cake and to assess the work that has been carried out on the building. The site remains close to their hearts as Halesowen residents and frequent visitors to the town centre.
