Kenneth James Maclin, 23 of Rochester, was arrested in June 2019 and charged with third- and fifth-degree assault. Rochester police say he punched a female teen several times after accusing her of being a police informant. Court documents state the victim needed several stitches after the attack. After a court case long delayed by the COVID pandemic, Maclin pleaded guilty Monday to a reduced charge of disorderly conduct. He’s been sentenced to one year of probation and must either pay a $100 fine or do 10 hours of community work service.

Kenneth James Maclin, 23 of Rochester, has pleaded not guilty to 3rd and 5th degree assault. He was arrested after an incident on June 17, 2019, in the 2100 block of 48th Street NW. Police say the victim accused Maclin of being a police informant and he punched her several times the day after that. Court documents say the female teen needed stitches after the attack.

The Mayor of Salisbury, Councillor John Walsh along with members of the Macklin Road Residents Association attended a small ceremony to mark the occasion on yesterday (Monday, December 21). The Macklin Road estate was built as a result of the Addison Act of 1919, which among other things was the then government’s wish to address the shortage of housing in the country. It also hoped to address the need for homes for soldiers returning from the First World War.
