But Polish pastor Artur Pawlowski of the Cave of Adullam Church in Alberta, Canada, knew his rights, telling the cops not to come back until they had a warrant in hand. SPRUCE GROVE, Alta. – RCMP say they’ve arrested a person suspected of tampering with a fence that surrounds an Alberta church closed by authorities amid allegations it refused to follow COVID-19 health orders.

Yet, for the past three months, GraceLife Church and its congregants have proudly been flouting Alberta’s mandatory health restrictions as if they are somehow above the law.
By now, the entire country is aware that on Wednesday, Apr. 7, 2021, Alberta Health Services (AHS) officially closed the church and surrounded it with fencing. Why this didn’t happen months ago is a question many Albertans are continuing to ask themselves.
