The incident happened Thursday around 11 p.m. according to the sheriff. The sheriff said deputies arrived in the area of Collins Street and Highway 18 in Vacherie to reports of gunfire. Deputies found that two residence and several vehicles being struck by gunfire in the area of Collins Street and Highway 18, according to a news release issued by the sheriff s office. Anyone with information is asked to contact the St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office at 225-562-2200. Crime Stoppers GNO is also offering a reward of up to $2,500

A public information officer in Mercer County, New Jersey, confirmed Monday that a judge at an extradition hearing in Louisiana had ordered the 15-year-old boy moved to Mercer County to face a charge of second-degree false public alarm, stemming from the boy allegedly called a bomb threat in to Princeton University on Sept. 19, 2020.
