Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Remember a couple nights ago when I said that the Diego Sanchez-Joshua Fabia-Dana White drama was just getting started? Well, it’s only grown uglier, as Sanchez’s would-be foe Donald Cerrone described “The Nightmare’s” relationship with his coach as “cult leader and lover.” Related
White has derided Fabia as well, and it seems the wellness guru is not going to stay quiet. In an explosive statement, Fabia accused both White and UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby of having sexual relations with female fighters.

Stamp Fairtex should be celebrating the biggest win of her MMA career. Instead, she is left with the first loss on her record after tapping out as Alyona Rassohnya worked to secure a guillotine choke with seven seconds remaining in their atomweight fight.
Stamp started celebrating when the referee stopped the fight, apparently under the impression the bell had already sounded. But the round was not over and by tapping once on the Ukrainian’s shoulder, she had clearly admitted defeat.
The Thai was trapped in a guillotine choke, but did not seem in any danger of getting choked unconscious. Only Stamp will know why she decided to tap at that stage, but the 23-year-old was furious when the referee stopped the fight.

Kyoji Horiguchi recaptured the Rizin bantamweight title with a first-round stoppage win over Kai Asakura at Rizin 26 on Friday. The UFC veteran was returning after a lengthy layoff and coming off a loss to the same opponent.
Horiguchi was back to his brilliant best and Asakura simply had no answer for his striking. The champion was on the receiving end of a series of right low kicks at the start of the fight.
Asakura tried to counter with a high kick, but Horiguchi made him miss and continued to punish the lead left leg. The champion was in visible discomfort and tried to turn the fight around with a flying knee.

Remaining undefeated for nearly a decade requires a lot of ability and, sometimes, a little bit of luck. Lowen Tynanes didn’t get any of the latter at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Friday as he dropped a split decision to Marat Gafurov at
ONE: Collision Course.
It was the first time the Hawaiian had ever tasted defeat. But the margins between success and failure could not have been any finer with a takedown attempt in the final seconds of the fight probably making the difference for Gafurov.
With Tynanes only having fought once in the last four years and Gafurov coming off a loss on his lightweight debut, the stakes were high for both men. They made a tentative start with very little action to speak of at the start of the first.
