Carol Alcorn
LORDSTOWN Carol Ann Alcorn, 76, passed away peacefully Friday morning, May 7, 2021, at her home in Lordstown, with her loving and attentive husband, Richard, at her side.
Carol was born on Dec. 25, 1944, in North Braddock, Pa., to Martin and Clara Hofer. The summers of her youth were spent enjoying the family cottage and the lake at Edinboro, Pa., with her parents, sisters and large extended family.
She attended St. Colman School in Turtle Creek, Pa., and graduated from Gateway High School in Monroeville, Pa., with an emphasis on stenography and office administration.
Carol married Richard W. Alcorn Jr. on Nov. 27, 1965, raised a family and enjoyed 55 years of life adventures together. She had a short career as an executive secretary for the Alcoa Corporation prior to the birth of her children.

Dawn Renee (Warble) Donofe, 53, of Wheeling, WV, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 24, 2021, at Liza’s Place, Valley Hospice Care Center South.
Dawn was born January 5, 1968, the daughter of Patti (Hodulik) Warble and the late Ron Warble, Sr.. She was a member of John Marshall Class of 1986.
She enjoyed being around friends and family and taking trips to Fish Creek and attending Jamboree in the Hills with them, and listening to her favorite song, “Freebird.” A favorite pastime of hers was watching the Pittsburgh Penguins and cheering on the Cleveland Browns.
She is survived by her mother, Patti; and her companion, Joe B. Patrello of Cameron, WV; son, Levi; and daughter, Paige, both of Wheeling; and their father, Chris Donofe of Weirton, WV. Also surviving are brother, Ron (Amy) Warble II of Benwood; nieces, Ally (Richie) Warble, Amber (Zane) Warble; mother-in-law, Gerry “Maw Maw” Donofe; and sister-in-law, Melanie “Aunt M
